![]() More severe: What happens, if DRS does no longer startup for any reason, e.g. I assume I will have to deactivate the license first? Will doing so release one activation, that I will be able to activate the 17final installation with it? upgrading from DRS 17beta to 17final (when it will come out), I need to uninstall 17beta. Is this poor access the only license control mechanism for me?įor e.g. I assume I can use it to deactivate this specific installation, releasing on further activation, so that (in this example) I would have two again? Within DRS's help menu I find Help -> Deactivate license. I installed DRS (17beta), entered the license key at startup, DRS accepted it telling me that there is 1 activation left. I bought a Product Activation Key allowing me activation on two computers. Of course I could deactivate an installation within DRS as well my account would be informed, releasing one further activation for me. ![]() And further more, I could login into the account and deactivate an installation (even without being logged in the respective machine) to release one key for activation. I would like to have an user account, where I could register me personally, register and link my DRS Product Activation Key.Įach time I would do a DRS installation and being asked for the key code, with a link to my account, I could see how many installations are still left and (if so) activate my new installation/computer with the key/account's information. ![]() What I expected from experiences with any other foto/video tool costing more than 50€: How does license management work for me with Davinci Resolve Studio (DRS)?
